Summary:
The machinist will operate manual lathe and milling machine to fabricate parts from a drawing or duplicate existing parts. Will also work with heavy equipment operators operating CNC shear, brake and roller.
Essential Job Functions:
- Fabricate a variety of parts primarily metal by reverse engineering existing components and from drawings.
- Must be capable of using measuring equipment and instruments to perform precise measurements of parts to the drawing specifications.
- Verifies part dimensions on parts to confirm adherence to engineering specifications or drawings.
- Maintains the equipment in good working order by performing preventive maintenance and/or repairs to meet production schedules.
- Operates and use a variety of hand tools and equipment.
- Works in smaller spaces and around high-end machinery spaces.
- Move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands and simple grasping, pushing and fine manipulation.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a machine shop.
- Ability to operate a wide range of machinery, small tools, etc.
- Good mechanical background is a plus.
- Ability to perform a variety of manual work.
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, crouch, kneel, lift, push and or pull materials.

- Good work ethics and being a team player helps considerable in growth.
Additional Job Functions:
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Will be required to take a Maritime OSHA 10-hour class within the first 30 days of employment.

Available Jobs
Welder Pipe Fitting
The welder will remove old material, fabricate new and fit, prep for welding and weld, grind and prep for paint or sand and polish. Remove and reinstall components as necessary in order to perform the welding task.
Painting – Fiberglass Laminator
The painter – laminator will laminate fiberglass components using resin and epoxy. Make necessary repairs to damaged fiberglass, fair, prep for paint or gelcoat and apply final finish and buff as needed. Prep a variety of material for paint and paint a variety of materials.
Mechanical
The mechanical person will evaluate, trouble shoot, repair, remove and install and test components as necessary.
Marine Carpenter
The marine carpenter will remove, replace, assemble, construct new cabinets, furniture, structure, decking, veneers and much more in high end yachts. Remove and reinstall components as necessary in order to perform the mechanical task.

CNC Engineer, Machine Operator
The CNC Engineer will be able to work from drawing and or reverse engineer components and turn into a CNC file be able to program and operate a CNC router, shear, brake and roller.
